Side note: When I lived in Reno, NV. I had a Morgan 4+4. I would drive to Lake Tahoe to run the curve late at night. After a trip around the lake, I pulled into a rest area to light up a Winston. There was a man there sitting on the fender of a GTO. We talked a bit and all at once it hit me. It was Steve McQueen. We chatted a bit more and he got in the car to leave. I said "great to meet you Mr. McQueen." He replied, "Thanks for the chat" and went down the road.
