So while my "marital bliss" department is still under negotiation, my job situation has improved slightly.
I took a 90-day contract in Columbus, OH which may become a permanent, or as permanent as any job is these days, job.
There is suckage involved as I am working on a "follow the sun" support team that unfortunately doesn't... 11:30-20:30 Th-Mon. Ick. No weekends, no time to spend with my son as he is in school weekdays.
Long commute, over 800 miles round-trip so I won't be going "home" much either.
Need to hook up with some bucketeers in the area, just to stay motivated. I'd be happy to offer an extra pair of hands when needed too.
