Cross Steering VS "Regular" Steering

In a recent post Ron @ RPM said that a newly acquired T that he had steered differently than his "old" silver T that had "regular" steering (I would presume that the silver car has a reversed Corvair box). My question is how different does it feel? Better than or worse than? I know Speedway touts cross steering on their kits, also Spirit. What are the actual advantages as far as feel, precision, lock to lock turns of the steering wheel, etc.... ?

I can' t tell you the difference in feel between the two, only that my '27 with cross steer, feels pretty similar to a typical car. It does not have any bumpsteer tenancy and has a pretty precise feel for what it is. I'm curious myself on how the slingshot style steering feels in comparison. I'm using a Flaming River vega box. Now my dad's 27 runs a rack and pinion setup mounted to the frame and that's a whole other can of worms!

I have cross steer with a Vega box like benT and it is a very trouble free system with absolutely NO bump steer.
