Different T's

annual Darrell Starbird show is in Tulsa this weekend. A bit over 1000 cars in the building. Here is a couple of kinda different looking T-Buckets.

A variation on that Red Baron was built by St Louisan Butch Reeves. He calls it "Sauer Kraut." It's powered by a V-8 rather than a straight 6 like the Red Baron.

As a kid, I played with a Red Baron Hot Wheels car. I have a soft spot for it, but that other thing...?? The design view is not at all appealing to me, but I'm sure the craftsmanship is quality.

All I can say for the "other thing" is, its different. Here are a couple more. I think out of over a thousand cars, only 5 were buckets.

That car has been around awhile. Here's a pic from the 2nd annual NTBA Nationals in Branson, MO. That was in 1999.
