Dimension Questions

Hi all,

I have a question on the T bucket dimensions. I'm looking at building one but would like to know more about the car before I say yes this is how and where I'm going to go and build it.

So tell me the dimension of the T for the body, cowl, firewall and doors -

Hight-

Width-

Lenght-

I'm thinking I might want to go with a stretched body. I'm 5' 10" and I'm sure i would fit in a regular size T but I just might like a little extra room. My plans are to go with bomber seats to set lower inside the car.

I wish I knew some guys in my area who have T's but as this time I do not. So any and all info you can give me would be great and if you have factory drawings with the specs that would be helpful as well.

Thanks everyone.

On your profile page, why don't you enter where you reside, that way someone near you will be able to get in touch with you and be of assistance.

There is no set size/dimensions when it comes to fiberglass T-Bucket bodies. Each producer have their molds that are similar to what Henry produced and some molds have been stretched, widened for more room. Pick a manufacturer (Spirit is in your area) and go from there. Good Luck!

Hey guys I have talked with both Ron "RPM" and Spirit both great people to talk with and both give a lot of good info. I guess I will just keep asking questions to both of them and see what and if I figure it out all.

I would like to have maybe just a little more leg room, not sure how much more room between me and the passenger I want if any.

I also need to figure out how to mock up a motor (Ron told me how to but I forget now) using a big block Mopar. I have found a couple 383 with 727 trans.

I found some body dimensions for T buckets from a few web sites and they all seem to differ on them.

Thanks everyone.
