He wants 10,500 for it? But why would you want to buy it anyhow you might have to drive it?

JMO.... :suicide: Mike

Different strokes, different folks. Not my thing, but it maybe someones dream car ( nightmare ).

Here is my thoughts on who would want it,

a 20 something year old that 15 years ago was putting playing cards in the spokes of their bike for the sound effects

who in his 40's rides a Harley with the loudest exhaust he can get

who in his mid 50's has a T with a 305, with tunnel ram and (2) 750 cfm carbs for the "looks".

What I see there is a 1994 Chevy that has more miles on it than advertised. It needs a new paint job and new wheels/tires. He's going to find out that with all that stuff on it, he'll be lucky to get low book value. As many of you already know, you can spend a lot of $$$$$ on stuff you like but not be able to find anyone willing to pay for it later since they don't don't like it nor want the same stuff. I know a guy that built a fantastic Factory Five replica Cobra. When he sold it I asked him if he got what he had into it. His answer......"I tell my wife that I did when she asks". 'nuff said about how much we might get when it comes time to sell our projects. But, it's not about the money. By the time I'm done building my 27T, the experience, fun of building and driving it will have been worth every penny I spent. Besides, whoever inherits it will have to worry about how much they can get for it.

Apparently it's something of a fad. At least in my part of the country (deep south) that is. I've seen "Orange Crush" and "Wrigley's Gum" (Juicy Fruit I believe) cars, as well as several others. All have the same theme. A paint job like an advertisement and "dub" type wheels. As has been said, not my cup of tea. Waaaaay more in paint and wheels than could hope to be returned.

The "generation gap" must finally be catching up with me. That or I have more taste in my old age.

Why would one purchase a car that one would have too park on the other side of town so that the neighbours would not laugh at you and the only positive one would gain is the long walk to and from the car to your home. :fidget:

I would have to wear a mask to even be seen inside that one... Like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... uggllllyyy!!! sorry to say, too bad as the work itself is not that bad... :)

Is that in the eye of the BEER holder?

UM ER, I got nothing. :shrug2:

This is THE thing here. Jacked up "boxes", "bubbles", and "donks."

Big rims, usually a number on the front fender or a sticker on the back glass indicating the size of the rims - 26" in chrome and huge -obscuring and thus rendering the rear glass completely useless.

I've seen a few painted up like NASCAR favorites also, along with Skittles and other candy themed cars.

Spinners are not as popular anymore for some reason, now the thing is to go BIG.

Sitting at a light once a "box" owner was checking out my hot rod, asked if it was a 350... his Hi Roller was hot rodded with a big shiny tunnel ram and a couple of beautiful Holleys, nice loping cam, healthy sounding exhaust note.

I had to ask, "so what's the deal, why's your car so high?"

"Fat chicks can't climb" he said as the light turned green.

And off we went.

The redneck teenage boys around here like sky high 4x4s, and you have the lowered Honda Coffee-Can exhaust stiff suspension tuner kids, the I-stole-dad's-BMW-and-trying-to-learn-how-to-drift kids, and a few that are getting into hot rods and muscle cars.

To each their own. I kinda like that.

What can I add except I had a Tonka Toy just like that only in yellow. Did nt really like it as a kid...
