Well done
Love your paint booth, is it NIOSH approved?

Really nice paint You should stick with the space saver spares.

ya know i put my car on this forum to show you guys the progress ive made in three years to finish my dream. im fighting to get this car done so i can take my dad a ride he has a rare lukiemia. i didnt know i was going to get made fun of with the space saver tires and my make shift paint booth. i built this car on a very low budget and use every meaans i can to improve my build. what ever i have is all i have .some day ill have real tires and wheels and a garage to put it in but for know i can push it out of my portable garage on its space saver tires but im not in debt and im not paying cre3dit card payments like some of you

and if it is a harmless joke something to laugh about ,then i apoligize

I won't speak for putz, but I think he was just ribbing you. We all have pics of our rides with pizza cutter rollers. We all kid around alot on here--nobody is taking cheap shots. :)

Glenn....
Sorry to hear about your dad. :(

I can only speak from my experiences here but these guys are top-notch. Only gentle ribbing. No mean stuff at all. It's not allowed by Mike (the head honcho).
Heck.. they let ME stay here and I got nuthin...

As for your garage there are a number of us with NO garage at all!
I haven't seen one thread here (so far) that has been bragging about the $ value of a build. If there are many "gold-chainers" here they are quiet about it. ;)

Build it safe and have fun. That's the main theme here.

Now we need a picture of you and your dad in the car!

Glenn I think your car looks good. I have been in the shape you are in I finally got a one car garage last year, and still use my portable garage to paint in, but I am getting there. I allso am in kind of a push to get mine done, because my dad is 95 yrs old and wants to see this finished, he donated 1000 dollars to the project recently and he is not in the best of health. We have to keep on pushing ahead the best we can, and we'll get there.

Glenn, it sounds like an accumulation of frustrations and life's ups and downs led to the outburst. This is one of the most supportive sites I go to and participate in. I live in Los Angeles, in a single apt with NO garage, just a dirt driveway. I would love to have an enclosed area to build a T but such is not the case as of now. Oino is a prime example of mind over matter as far as building a bucket under a blue tarp. Get yours running as quickly as possible so you can enjoy driving it. I have a friend that has a 21 Dodge bucket and when we go out cruising its nothing but smiles, waving to people I don't know and having fun. Gotta enjoy the fruits of your labors. Your were frustrated then, you voiced your objections, people made amends, you moved on.
As a side note, how people here are in the "planning stages" of their build but haven't the time, place, or finances just yet for a build? Life is happening to me right now so I have't as yet. But I can dream and participate in the forum and really, isn't that part of the fun?

Glen,

Do what ever you have to to get your dad in that car. I had the same goal and didn't get it done in time. I did get my 75 year old mother out for a ride before alzheimers took her mind away. It still was not the same as having dad in the passenger seat.

Looks like we all want to share our love of T's with the most influential man in our lives, dear old Dad. My pop is 91, a retired mechanical engineer and wants to experiance the power to weight ratio of my Track T. I have no doors, so he is unable to get in the T. I'm considering slinging a boson chair (a strap like on a swing set) to the cherry picker and just wheel him over the passanger seat and lower him in just like a sbc lol. Take him for a ride then pull back into the garage and resling to the boson chair he is sitting on top between his rear and the car's seat. Jack up and roll him out of the car.
