Firefox 3.5 vulnerability discovered

Dang and I just upgraded to it too. Changed the about:config file, but I also am starting not to turn on Javascript to all pages now, just the ones I know is safe.

Thanks for the headsup Mike!

If you're using Firefox, I highly recommend the NoScript plugin.

Sure it can be a pain in the arse to have to allow this and that, but it tries to keep everything from running in the background.

I've used it forever.

Firefox 3.5.1 has been released.

Firefox Browser | Free ways to customize your Internet

If you were running Firefox 3.5 and defeated the Just In Time javascript option, you will need to re-enable it.

In the Firefox address bar, type - about:config

Click the button to say you plan to be careful.

Then enter the following into the search (or scroll to this line) - javascript.options.jit.content

Double-click that line and JIT will be enabled.
