Firefox Browser

Good on you for giving it a try. You now have a browser that is much more secure than Internet Exploiter. (Yes, with the announcement of the mouse tracking flaw in Microsoft's Internet Explorer, I will now refer to it as Internet Exploiter.)

And if you think Firefox is already running faster, take a look at this thread. Make those changes and re-start Firefox. But be sure you fasten your seatbelt before you start it back up. :whistling:

And do not feel you need to limit yourself to just one browser. You can install multiple browsers and find the one that best suits your needs. Since I am always trying and testing things on Web sites, I try to keep several browsers installed, so I can check my changes on multiple browser platforms. When I was still using Windows, I had Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari all installed. I have several browsers (Chromium, Epiphany, Firefox, Midori and Opera) installed in Linux, as well. By running a browser like Safari on a Windows machine, you are actually getting some security through obscurity. Malicious coders are trying to get the most bang for their buck, so they code to get into Internet Exploiter, not the more secure browsers.
