Firewall?

Does anyone know where I can order a chrome or stainless firewall cover?
Thanks

If you have a CCR body, you can order one from them.

You could also make a template and have it cut out of reflective (mirror) plexiglass.

We plan on cutting ours out of stainless stove backsplash that is available from Lowes.

You can buy a piece of stainless sheet at ACE hardware, cut it to shape and rivet or screw it in place. Here's mine:

If you put it on with adhesive it gives it a real clean look.

3M trim adhesive works well

Ted: That much 1/4" alum. will cost a fortune around here. I've got a sheet of .040 stainless (free) guess I'll put it on with adhesive. Oh- I have a thick firewall (backed by Roving Woven.

The ones from CCR are alum. I have one. They polish up nice but scratch real easy.
I polished my CCR firewall and then clear coated it ... looks great ... so far.

How are you scratching it?? I find that most anything will scratch, if you scratch it with something,, I really like the 1/4" look from the side, makes for a good contrast to the paint... I do also use a piece of 1/8th" painted BBQ Black/Satin for hiding the back of the engine and don't have to get at it to polish, so I really have 2 Alum fire walls, one on top of the other... Just me and my strange ways... Happy polishing :)
