In Lewisville there is a very good shop (where I had my engine done) called Whitten's Machine Shop at 620 Franklin
Lewisville, TX 75057 (972) 221-8811. Fast, honest and build some cool engines. They can build you a stroker if you want.

I've had Wayne Calvert in Denton build two engines and alot of the Local Hot Rodders use him. He's a former NHRA engine builder.

The short block for my current Blown SBC was built by City Motor on Harry Hines in Dallas. They also build alot of 383 stroker motors for the dirt track crowd.
