O.K. Who went and hung all the Xmas balls around here? THANKS for doing it and everyone have a Blessed Holiday Season. Enjoy your time with family and friends!!
I figured since it is December already (where does the time go), I better get the decorations up. I'm responsible for the decorations, whilst the mods *cough, cough* are taking care of the food and drink.
I can relate. A week ago, we had snow on the ground. Today, it's 68°, with a predicted high of 70°. Come Wednesday, we have a predicted high of 41°. Welcome to Indiana...

Went to Purdue for five years 40 years ago. Winter was very variable. Some years colder than a witches ......some years hardly even winter. In that zone between the battles of the south weather and the north weather. That's the way here in St. Louis. Sometimes really cold, sometimes not too bad.
When I drove home from work this morning, it was 58°. It's coming up on 2:00 PM and the temperature is down to 48°, with an overnight low of 30° being forecast. And tomorrow, our forecast high is 39°. But by Saturday, we're meant to be back up near 60°. No way of ever figuring it out.
If it was 40 or 50 in these parts, I'd be dancing naked thru the streets. Today is a good day.....a scorching 5. The ice from 2 previous freezing rains will be stuck to my driveway until mid-March.
Up here in northeastern Minnesota on Thanksgiving Day it was 53 at 2:30 in the afternoon and at about 9:30 that night it was 24 with about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Right now it's 31 with a forecast of 5 to 8 inches of snow over the next two days. A lot closer to normal. So here's a little something to go with the snow on the roof.
