I JUST BOUGHT A 1928 FORD T-BUCKET WITH 460 FORD "BUILT" ENGINE, NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN TOUCHED IN OVER 20 YEARS, SO I'M LOOKING FOR A NEW OR ANYONE CAN REBUILD THE MASTER CYLINDER. I NEED TO REPLACE ALL BREAK CAL. PADS ETC. WOULD BE "AWESOME" 4 SOME ""HELP"" PLEASE!!!!!! THANK U THANK U VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome, Tear. Sounds like a wicked ride you have acquired there. These little cars are an absolute blast to drive. That said, with the potent power-to-weight ratio we have in a T-bucket safety becomes a key consideration, and brakes and steering are areas where you don't want to compromise. I recommend a new master cylinder, not rebuilt. Replacing the other components might begin with an evaluation of what you have now. If it's all Ford parts, then your local Ford dealer is your friend. If it's aftermarket stuff, there are companies like Speedway Motors who can supply brake kits. Help us understand what's on there now, and pictures will help.

Again, Welcome!

That 1928 is not a Model T it is a Model A. Like Spanky says do not use a rebuilt Master Cyl. on any brake job.
Welcome to the fourm let us see some photos.......

Tear, just to be clear, yes as LincolnuT says, a 1928 Ford is actually a Model A . However, sometimes cars based on model T's are titled as later years which may be the case for your car. No big deal.

(PS - The model T was built between 1908 and 1927, with 1923 being the most prolific year.)
