hydraulic roller lifters

Tried to call the guy that built my engine , he got divorced and has moved to another state. Now im gonna have to fix it, Oh well. I have a hydraulic roller cam and will need to take off some rockers ,so i can get to some of the head studs to fix the water seeping problem. Do you adjust them running after zero lash and 1/4 turn? Back em off till clatter then shut em up and then 3 1/4 turns? Cant i adjust both intake and exhaust at same time if i bring it up on compression stroke? Just to get it running i mean. Tighten nut till pushrod barely spins with fingers and then go 1/4 turn more for start up or what? Thanks guys

Are you talking about head bolt studs or rocker arm studs? If you are talking about adjusting rocker arms, then yes 0 lash plus 1/4 turn.

GT63 has you covered. I always use the base circle method to get to 0 lash on each cylinder, its easy with the plugs out and a remote starter button hooked up.

Maybe that guy built his home life like he did his motors.....sorry....yea, I know..... :jawdrop: :spank:
