Hi Guys

here's one that I have thought about for years.

You can walk into a dealership and buy a T.

Consider that we strive to produce something that corperates cant... individual rides.

Chrysler (Plymouth) made the Prowler and hate it as much as you can I would have one tomorrow if I could.

So where do we go from here. Is it billet everything. Hand made and non reproducable. Standerized chassis, bodies and engines. Who KNOWS

Whats the next step in Ts. Only we can answer this and move forward.

If this is too phylosophical please tell me before I go off on another question that gets you running for the workshop and the beer. That reminds me there is a brew in the fridge thats got to that temperature that only a worshop can satisfy

Motor is a good start I don't know about the motor cycle tires and bias ply mickeys though.

Gerry, your photo is funny because, at least on this side of the pond, many T-bucket detractors refer to them as rolling engine stands! :hooray:

Hi
Now I see... we just call them engine stands. Still it was a starting point.

Gerry,
If I understand your original post correctly then you will see where I'm going in my build, something that hasn't been done before (that I know of ). An all stainless steel chassis 23 C-cab delivery full fendered with 28 fenders and running boards. A big thanks to Paul Horton (welders series) for taking on the project and providing some seriously nice parts. Other companys blew me off. I guess what this all comes down to is that you won't find this one on any dealership showroom.........ruggs

I like your question. The first problem is a progressive movement in government wanting to control every thing and not having a clue. We have solved the titling problem in AR , step one complete. The titling issue solved now how many can you sell before the big brother government steps in and requires crash testing and who knows what else, there needs to be a balance here. A Tbucket falls somewhere between a Motorcycle and a Volvo and that's just the way it is. A person who would want to start a car company in today's world would have to be a little over the edge. If someone wanted to build cars the safest place would probably be at GM (government motors) that job would come with government guarantees and even a government warranty. I don't know if the second problem can be over come but look for the Spirit T coming to a dealer near you soon.

Hi
you got it. I was trying to get some thought going on the next gerneration Ts and what we are looking to do with the look, running gear etc.

Your ride looks like it will be a real one off. SS is just so nice to have, but a chassis is wild
