I'm partial to C-1's . . .

Nice looking car

When I lived in Reno in 1962/66, there was a powder blue T-Bird w/port hole top on a used car lot. I stopped by to have a look at it. The sales man told me that it belonged to a change lady at one of the casinos. It had just gotten the engine overhauled and she was wanting to get something else to drive. I asked the price and he told me $1700.00 but she may come down a little. I had a Morgan 4+4 at the time and thought it was a bit to much money.

My dad had lots of em. He did body work for several car dealers and was constantly buying back two row cars. He once had a his and hers pair of t birds. His was convertible with all the bells and whistles, hers pretty plain Jane. Both teal/white. He bought them that way, they were supposedly ordered as a pair and traded in the same way.
