In the L A Roadster Show...

Thanks for the link... But Wow... Lots of Cars to look at... Especially since I should be working hehe...

I've been trying to narrow down what kinda look I want for my project... and this has helped... I guess what I'm wanting would be called a Nostalgia Track T maybe?
Track T or even Regular T nose with hood and sides and a Turtledeck. Thinner/Taller wheels/tires with Wide Whites on them.

Here's some of the ones giving me my inspiration...

..there is a surprising number of T's at this event as evident in this link.

I really like these looks like a lot of 32's though.

Got any other pics of either of these. Second one looks like Gerry Uk's front end.

Putz, that T in question is a Dan Woods T if I'm not mistaken. A friend of mine had one exactly like it and found it extremely uncomfortable to drive further than a couple of miles.

Uncomfortable in what way, Jim?

OK, you Ford guys with good eyes - are those Gurney-Weslake covers on a stock casting, or are those the real enchilada? The covers almost look too deep to be the real deal, but the angle isn't real good, either.

Mike, he claimed that the seating position was very uncomfortable. His wife absolutely refused to ride in it at all. I realize that comfort is a personal thing but he did not even look comfortable. I know that the early bodies are smaller than the '23 to '27 style bodies so that may have had a lot to do with it.

Anyone have an idea what tires are on the rear of the blue roadster with the louvered turtle deck (above)? I need tires and those are similar to what I'm looking for.

Those look like B F GOODRICH 285/70x15. That is what I'm running on my car with matching 155/80x15 on the front.

P.S. I might add that they are a discontinued size. Good luck finding some.

Since the 285/70r15 BFGs have been discontinued - Coker is still making the whitewall version - the closest you can come is their 265 / 75R15. That sidewall looks taller and the tread width looks slightly more narrow.

Either that or he went with the Truck size 31x10.5 R15, that one might still be available.

The orange t is featured in Pat Ganahl's book Lost Hot Rods. It is indeed a Dan Woods car and those are real Gurney-Weslake heads.

Jim & T-Odd.....Thanks
