Below is a link that I found very interesting. It's dry ice blasting. The process works because dry ice is carbon dioxide in pellet foam about the size of grains of rice. Carbon dioxide is an amazing solvent about as strong as acetone but is non toxic and non-flammable. Best of all it's non-abrasive and it just evaporates cleanly, it's enviromentally friendly...the CO2 is pulled from the air or other sources so it's not creating more CO2.
