Kickin back with Leon

Its 3.15 and I have had enough of grinding and filing. My wife got me a Leon Russel CD for Valentines. Got an original 12'' vinyl of Carine which Ive always loved. Masquerade and all that stuff. This is Woodstock stuff so it will probably only get the attention of us oldies.
Anyway, finished playing with the tank for the day so..............................

Kick back with some music, fill my glass with merlot (or some other white French beverage, which some forum members prefer ) and look at today's work. Its good to build a bucket.

It's been a few years, but I've seen Leon Russell three times live at the Lil' Bear in Evergreen, Colorado. I have three of four of his CDs.

The unwritten motto of the Bear is, If you can't get picked up here, it ain't goin' to happen. Well, or so I've heard.

Leon was looking at bit haggared and walked with a cane, but put on a great show.

The rafters around the stage at the Bear are strung with bras, though I was never there when one was "donated".

The Bear is a popular hang out for Denver bikers on Saturdays. They get there early to get a parking spot in front and then gather on the porch to brag how much they spend on chrome and noise.

I was going to park my pro stock bike there once, but realized I'm too old the defend myself.

I'll try to find a picture of the Bear and post it.

That would be cool. Youre never to old to defend yourself. They have fists we have words. Sounds like a place I would have to go to. Love to see a picture.

Magic Mirror has just come on; Opening words...

Standing by a Hiway,
Suitcase by my side. No place to go
Just thought Id catch a ride..
