I agree...I found myself in the position of being the boss of a guy who at one time had been the owner of the Architectural Firm I worked for. He had retired to FL, then got bored and worked part-time for a local architect. Our firm ended up buying that Architect out and then sent me down to help run the show. So here is a 34 year old with about 10 years experience managing an 80 year old Architect that forgot more than I know. I gave him a lot of respect and held him in high regard. I was humbled when he told me that the two years that I was there running the place (we closed up the office due to the economy...) was some of his best years and that he really appreciated that the respect and understanding I gave him. I am proud to say he is a good friend and even though he is still in Ft Myers and I'm back here in Indy, we correspond on a weekly basis.

I'm also very fortunate to have 3 out of the 4 of my Grandparents still alive (I'm 35). They are all amazing and valuable treasures to me and they have endured experiences that I can only imagine. There is not nearly enough time or room in this forum for me to express how much I have learned from them and how much I appreciate and cherish the years that I have spent with them. It amazes me to see people that are oblivious to the intellectual wealth that the previous generations have to give- A real pity in my opinion.
