Laughed until I cried

I'm trying to make a log story short, so bear with me.

I met a fellow 2-3 years back, who was selling a piece of software we used when we were running vBulletin forum software. The guy is an absolute hoot, but he is also the consummate salesman. I'm telling you, Joe could run out of stock, selling ice makers to Eskimos.

Back in October, Joe was trying to decide what he wanted to get for a Halloween costume. He decided he's such a hard guy (aye, right!), he would dress up as Dog the Bounty Hunter. A few days later, he saw a photograph of me and got discouraged when he saw the length of my hair. He said I was so close to the right hair that he was giving up on his idea. Although he and I spent several subsequent days, referring to one another as "Brah" on Twitter.

Joe has co-founded a new company, called Viral Age and they're using all sort of gimmicks to attract people to their new site. When they set up their site, they set up a 404 error page that was guarded by V-Gor, the gorilla. But it's turned out that V-Gor does a lot more than just guard their Web pages.

For those unfamiliar, it is common to recommend people that you follow on Twitter to your other followers. The idea being that it is an excellent way to build a network of followers, with a good chance they will all be of like minds and have similar interests. So, on Fridays, you send tweets with a Follow Friday hashtag, that looks like this - #FF - followed by some of your contacts that you think other followers will appreciate.

Joe has decided that Viral Age needs to be promoting a new concept he calls Waving Wednesday. Waving Wednesday requires more than just a simple tweet, you need to post a short video, introducing a Twitter follower to your other followers.

Well, today was my lucky day. Joe decided it was time to introduce me to his other followers. And if you look closely, you can even see V-Gor in the background. I had to watch it 2-3 times to see V-Gor, I was laughing so loud.

At least my sistahs know I'm good for my bail!

This was the image that broke Joe's heart at Halloween. I usually keep it tied back, to keep it out of my face, but for whatever reason, I was wearing it loose on the day.

Give me some feathers and a paint gun, brah!

Mike: We'd better not start showing each other what we really look like...we'll scare off all the newcomers!:wacky:

I always think it's a great idea to at least get a face with a name.

Most of the time I'm behind the camera but here's one in front.

I don't know, whats up with all you longhairs? :jester:

I don't have any hair because I am old............This is what the Lincolnut looked like in San Deigo in 2010........Maybe it won't scare to many off of the site...........

I should probably mention my locks have been shorn. It was more than long enough to be donated to Locks of Love, so off it went. And I seriously doubt I'll wait another two years to get it cut again, so that was probably the one and only time I will ever make such a donation.

Very cool Rick, your ride sounds great.

I've been getting it cut every 4 to 6 weeks. With a #3 clipper its so much easier to take care of. When it was long it was tied back most of the time.

Has anyone ever noticed that the long haired cute girls get to about 30 and then all of a sudden they have short 'easy to manage' cuts. Seems to happen to all of them.
Just so you know my other half has still got long and beautiful hair at 50 plus

i wore my hair half way down my back for years, about 11 years ago i was standing on a rotary blast drill with the drill steel in front of me and turning, my hair was in a ponytail but was being blown all over the place by the wind. i decided that there was noway i could outrun that steel so i cut it off. now it is down to my shoulders, guess that is what happens when you get to have a desk job instead of being in the machine shop are going out in the feild. always wanted to do the locks of love after i had cut my hair, but that is something that i and my grandauther have been talking about.

You won't let it go seven years again? Or you won't get it cut again? :winkn:

Most people never realized mine was so long. I generally wore it tied back. I get a hoot out of bumping into people I know and watching them try to figure out why I look so different.

Here is the new version, not a bad pic at 70MPH.

Had a buddy get his long hair caught in the belts of a old bowling machine. We where bowling and heard screaming went back he was hanging by his hair.He said don't cut it so we backed off the machine and got him out. How many wear wedding rings had to cut one off a guy that was glowing . Gold conducts electricity very well reached into a fuse panel made a little arc
