That is a cool site brings back a lot of memories.Sneaking people in and a lot of underage drinking going on.

Very cool track i am an avid movie watcher and have been to many Drivein theaters. in OKC growing up there were no less than 9 driveins And i have been to them all. As a kid my family would go the drive in in Liberal kansas {Western Drive in} saw easy rider there. I lived in wichita for a timeand attended several movies at the wichita drive in. While my wife and i were dating we attended several movies at the Norman ok and Pauls Valley drive in dont remember what moves were showing though Ha Ha .

I'm a little late to the Drive-In discussion but I saw your post about Lubbock putting in a drive-in and it brought back a lot of memories. I grew up about 60 miles from Lubbock and my dad had 2 drive-ins. One in Amherst and the other in Earth. I actually worked for my dad as a projectionist until I graduated went to college in Lubbock. Thanks for the nudge back to all those memories . . .

Yup, I am real happy that somebody is building these drive-ins out here in West Texas. They bring back great times for me to!

LOL, a funny memory.... Worked in Terrell, TX, and used to frequent the drive in there. Had a 66 Dodge Charger that the back seats folded down, along with a deck that opened up into the trunk. Short on money, had a friend drive while the girlfriend and I hid in the back. The booth attendant was a older guy who worked at the same place I did. After we got inside, a few minutes later, here he comes with the cops pointing my buddy out "Thats him! He stole that car! I know the guy who drives it!"

After the cornfusion ended and cops realized no car was stolen, the older guy pulled me aside and chewed me out. "All you had to do was ask, and I woulda gotten you in free!"

Still laugh about that.
