lost my shop pal today...

12 yr. old collie/golden ret. mix , about 100 lbs . in her prime , most caring PROTECTIVE dog I've ever known... used to nap in frt of the door so nobody could get in , kinda messed her up when I enlarged the shop & put another door in.. then she'd spend about an hour at each door , alternating from one to the other, when anyone came in, she'd get between me & them,never aggresive , you just knew she meant business..... just venting....

Sorry for your loss. I had to put my dog to sleep tuesday, It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. She was a Shih Tzu about 9 years old, she had diabetes for the last 2 years, she was about 95 % blind, and other health issues that come with diabetes. She was as good as could be. she was never spanked or punished in any way, She just wonted to be with us, beside us, whereever we went or did we did it with her. People that don't love a good dog will just not understand, They just wont to please you and be with you.
I held her while she took her last breath.

Sorry for your loss... We have 4 Dogs 14,13,12, and 11 years old. The 2 boys are my buddys, the 2 girls are my wife's. I'd hate to loose any of them, they're family...
