MAS no more?

I suspect this is true. The folks that are building the t-bucket bodies for MAS is selling excess inventory. I was tempted to buy a one or two just for mock ups and display them suspended from ceiling of Shop.

David, I am not that good at this computer thing. If you are a member of the H.A.M.B. you can do a search for it. Remember that the H.A.M.B. changes very quickly and if you are just going back a few pages you probably have to go back farther than you think. I read the posts yesterday.

Too bad, that was a very old company with a rich hstory in racing in this area.

Wow MAS has a long history. Looks like the story may be true. I like it much better when everybody is doing well.

Thanks for the link GT36. That's too bad. Some interesting discussion on the HAMB about how they were a little behind the times with marketing their wares. I do remember seeing their ad in a magazine a few years ago, and being really surprised they didn't have a website. It looks like they do now, or, the website is up but they aren't, or, whatever.

But! There is Hope!! The really good news is............................

WE'VE GOT RON!!!!!!! (RPM) He's well on the way to making a ton of the same kinds of bits and pieces MAS did. Even more maybe.

Ron is also super computer savvy, and he knows how to market. ;)

We all just need to be patient, and hang on a bit longer. This whole mess will turn around. It always does. :D

Looks a whole lot like an automated reply.

I just tried to call them and there voicemail box is full.

I've been talking to some local folks and yep the store is closed. They are having an auction soon to liquidate the inventory. There is some talk of it coming back under new management but so far just unconfirmed talk.

Disappointing...wonder what they have left in bodies for auction?

I just bought one of their bodies for $225 :) It's just a bit of hassle now to get it here because they don't ship. I can't pick it up because the US gov't requires a passport to enter and it'll take me a month to get one. So my only option is to find a shipper and arrange for pickup and delivery....shouldn't be too tough. The seller will pallet and shrink wrap so that's a bonus.
