Mike first people want to know where you are with your bucket? Some people are willing to donate parts to help because all the time you have put into this site. Others would be willing to help on car.
Maybe We need a show in indiana and make a trip to mikes to help get his bucket up and running.Due to the awesome job he has done with this site. I wrote this part. Then Rick wrote this I live in michigan so not to far away so lets roll. Then Dovehunter wrote
Speaking of, maybe Mike could share what he is missing/what he needs... I would be willing to donate to the cause since he has poured his heart in the forum... Would be impossible for me to make it and help, I could help by donating to Mike's bucket.

I would be willing to donate. I am not in a position to work on it but certainly could give parts. What does he need. Hey Mike make a list of what you are looking for it is our turn help you. Some of us would like to do more than just thank you.

I appreciate the thought and everyone's good nature, but the project is a bit of a pride issue with me. It took me a lot of years to get this far and it might take me a few more to get finished, but that's OK. Because when I do get there, I will know I managed to do it on my own.

I'm still tossing ideas around for possible engine options anyway, so as you can see, I'm in no real particular hurry. Heck, I can't even decide what color this car should be.

Do you have pics up of your project? yes there are many ways you can go as far as engines, and color is another crazy thing.. I started out in Black, then tried MANY other colors over the years, all with mixed emotions and feed back... Now I am back in Black, but if you like to be noticed, Red and Yellow are the best for that... I think I hide in Black... But with the White top on, the car gets noticed a ton more... Unreal as to the difference...
Good Luck with your peoject, and I fully understand your reasons for doing it your way, in your own time...

Mike: Sounds like you work like I do. Almost everything on mine is hand made and I had no PLANS to work from but everybody seems to like it and the stance is great.
