More caps.

While I am taking a rest from the tank I thought I would turn up the caps for the king pins. They match the look and angle of all the other 'caps' on the T so should blend in OK..

Gerry, I myself would be scared to death that the Kingpin bosses might just want out of that axle, with the slightest bump sideways... Unless you have them flagged?? I have seen bosses exit the axle with more weld than that... just a thought... :)

Okay, nice job! Well, it looks nice though. Maybe there's a set screw someplace. Well, you can just push it down with your foot at the end of a journey. I'm thinking just short trips to the pub and back.

Pretty cool Gerry. I have some similar caps on mine, but they are finned. They are held on to the top of the pin with JB Weld.

Plan to stick these on with windshield glue (Silkoflex). I keep hearing about JB Weld but have no idea what it is?

PS there is a grub screw that locates the king pin. It goes in from behind the stub axle assembly when it turned right round to face at 90* from straight.
