Still asking questions while waiting on my frame.

When you install your steering column, will the column drop just bolt to the dash, or do ya need some sort of brace under the dash? If ya need the brace, which I think you would, explain how you've fabricated one.

Also, have any of you used the swivel floor mount, when you installed your column?

I fabricated my lower dash brace with 3/4" x 3/4" square tubing. It has two legs going down to the floor on either side of the body. Each leg has a 1/4" thick "foot" that extends to the frame. I then drilled and counter sunk one of my body mounting bolts through these "feet". All of this reinforcement is totally glassed in.

I have wood going across under my dash with a support column then goes through a Mullins swivel going through the firewall.
 
I used a couple of pieces of angle iron to fabricate a brace between the dash and firewall and mounted my drop to that.
