my old t bucket

from about '71 to '77 i built vw trikes for fun and very little profit. i was getting tired of them and decided to build a hot rod. i had all these vw parts laying around and said why not a t bucket? well i built it and had a lot of fun with it till somebody had to have it more than me, so i sold it, which always bothered me. anyway, here is a video of it. hope you like it.

oh i forgot!! i did get it back. it took a while but i talked him into a trade for my metro and a 650 yamaha i had for it. it's all apart and i am updating it right now. sorry for that. i knew there was something i was forgetting in the first post.

Great story and video. I'm also glad to see that the original owner/builder was able to get it back. It's not every guy that gets a chance to relive some of his youth.

Great story! I'm glad you had the chance to get your ride back. I bet that was a very special moment.

Gary it's very interesting that we were doing the same thing back then, a friend of mine built several vw's back then ( he's gone now and I miss him a lot) . After we played with them for a while we sold them, mostly to someone who was racing them at that time and they ended up as parts or junk so they are gone.
