Today sure feels like Christmas. UPS dropped off some goodies from Speedway and the freight company just delivered my new GM Goodwrench 350 long block.

Now all i gotta do is swap some parts and dump the new engine in the T-Bucket and i'll be ready to roll.

Merry christmas To you. Need before and after pics.I am in the process of putting a 383 stroker in my lids 97 pickup before he goes in the airforce next month.then body is coming off to get a few inch lenghten.

More goodies!!!!!The wife picked up some VDO Cockpit gauges for me today (she works for NAPA). She got fuel, oil pressure, water temp, and volt gauges and a tack. They didn't have the speedo so i'll have to pick that up somewhere else. They sure will look better than the mismatched gauges that was in it when i bought it.

You don't need a speedo. The nice policeman will tell you how fast you were going.

Yeah but they always want a donation to tell you how fast you were going.

The big brown truck should drop off my new intake manifold sometime today. I wanted an old school manifold with the oil filler tube and since i never had any luck finding an Edelbrock C4B intake i just went ahead an ordered a new Edelbrock Performer EPS Intake Manifold.

The big brown truck brought the rest of my goodies yesterday. Tomorrow's my day off so i'm gonna (try) to get up early and hit it hard all day. Gotta get this thing going again. I'm under strict orders from my 5 yo grandson to "Call me when it's finished".

Grandson pressure - I can relate. :welxome: "Opa, when are we going to ride again in your hotrod?". :)

Got the old 327 out and the new 350 and tranny back in today. Now comes the fun part. Bolting everything back on and getting her fired up.

hope you have a quiet exhaust system to fire up the new engine and getter tuned, if your's are chromed that is, but quiet is important to be able to hear all that is happening inside... Just a thought... Nothing more fun than a new HEART/engine transplant :hoist:
