New guy from WA

Hi I'm kyle from Puyallup Washington i'm 20 years old and bought a T-bucket last week. The car was built by my dad and another gentleman and was completed in 1996. my dad sold the car in 1998 and passed away in 2000. I was given the oprotunity to purchase the cars so I sold all my toys and thats why im here now. It's not a "true" t bucket at least in my opinion. I always thought of t buckets in a 50s hotrod/boarderline rat rod but to each is own. My T is a 1926 fiberglass body with a ZZ3 crate, turbo 350, and a krugle komponents rear end. kind of a billet machine I guess that why I dont see it as a true T but Its still BADASS. hopefully I can find some good info already on this site that can answer any questions I can come up with.

If i can figure out how to put some pics on here I will

Welcome to the site! You have a beautiful, well built car and the fact that your dad built it should hold a very special place in your heart. A T can be built in any style that a person likes and be enjoyed. I will say though, that your car may be "titled" as a '26 but the body is actually a '23 to '25 style. The real give away is the short cowl. I say this not to be critical but to be informative, so please, do not take it the wrong way.

Welcome to our little corner of the world. That is one very nice T. It dose qualify as a T-bucket around here. Your interior was money well spent. It's awesome!!!

Kyle, welcome to the site. If you want to change the look of the car nothing does it quicker than a wheel/tire change. Or a can of flat black primer.

I'd go with the wheel/tires change.

The car is fine. Drive & enjoy.

Welcome fellow Washingtonian. It sounds to me like you have your head screwed on right, but on this site you will most likely find that your bucket fits most of this groups definition of a true 'T' bucket. I'm with you on them being slightly more on the grung side myself though, so you are not alone... Don't get me wrong, most that are found in "Rodz" magazine have gone a little too far in the grung direction for me, but totally billit is not really my thing at all... They are ALL good though, so to each his own as long as they are built safe. Welcome!

Thanks for the replies and complements guys, and thanks for the comfermation on the year now that i look at pictures its more than obvious I would have looked like an idiot at the first couple car shows haha. The license plate has now been changed which only required the removal of 2 6volt batteries (slimer than 1 12volt for space), 2 amplifiers, and the gas tank to acsess the nuts on the back of the plate bolts. but anyway all criticism and comments are welcome thats why i got on hear to learn.

Welcome, nice T :hoist:
