Nice Day

So its been pretty nice this weekend here in Indy --60deg Sat and 50ish today. I had to work yesterday to get a project out so I decided today would be a good day to change the oil in the truck. Well to do the oil change, I had to move the '27 out of the way in shop. Hmmm...52 degrees and the sun shining.... sounds like a good excuse to take the first spin of the season!!! I ran it through its paces and while it was pretty cold on the face at speed, it didn't really matter. You all know what I'm talking about! At the end I had a real grin as I was doing burnouts all up and down the street. :funmeter2:

Any of the other mid westerners or northerners get their T's out yet? I realize guys like Ex Junk get to cruise around all year in FL, but us Yankees have to be patient. Now all I want to do is plan some road trips and cruises!

It was low 70s and sunny here today. and I had to move Putz's T out to move some stuff around in the shop. I thought what the heck, no tags, no insurance. I drove it around a few miles. It has cross steer in it, and it is a lot different than the traditional in my bucket. It was just great to get out in the sun and ride a little, then back to work. Later in the week here it is supposed to be 78 degrees. I'll have to get the silver car out then.

I'm approximately 200 miles North of you benT so it's a little colder up here, the high's have been in the upper 40's but I've got the itch. This will be the 44th summer I'll be cruising with her, we're both getting old but she seems to be holding up better then me.

Ron, you say that Putz's T has cross steering and it is "different" than your traditional T. Could you explain?

John

Which type of steering do you prefer. I had to work on that box when I got it it was a tooth off.
