Well, isn't the Thanksgiving weekend typically the weekend everyone puts up all the Christmas decorations?

As for the snow, I have no control over the weather.

Bah, humbug on the 12 days of Christmas stuff. I pulled down all the decorations, packed them in their boxes and stuffed them into the attic.

I agree with you on this but putting them in the attic means you just have to put them up again next year better to just set them out at the street and let the big truck with the compactor come and get them.

Nahhh, I'm too tight frugal to do that. If I toss out all the decorations, that means I would have to purchase new ones for next year.

It's meant to get up to 49°, tomorrow, which will be nice. I can finally get the truck cleaned up. But come Monday, we're meant to have a high of only 16°, so the warm day comes with a price tag.

Supposed to be 49 today in St. Louis. Gotta get the 27T out and run the engine. Will take a short drive around the subdivision to test the airflow around the windshield. Being an engineer I have to study and understand such things. 57 tomorrow....will have to do it again to see if the warmer air changes any of the data.

I typically have used a Linux Tux avatar in most places. And this is one I use a lot, because it is me. Long hair, glasses and a pair of worn out shoes.

I have a few favorites I like to use, at different times and in different places.

I use this one on a lot of Scottish-oriented sites.

I use these on a lot of sites where I am on staff, for what should be obvious reasons.

Just some fun ones.

I just try to switch it all up, every now and again. When you belong to, and staff as many forums as myself, it's nice to make a change every now and again. I have managed to pare down the forums I frequent and managed to get the number down to only 158, but that is still a few more than most people.
