Rules For Turn Signal Lights

Is there any rules that dictate what color of lens the turnsignals have to be? I would sure like to use these as turn signals for the boat car.

Red for the rear.....I'd check on-line with the state reg's on the green front though.
most states want clear or amber fronts.

Yes, it is against the law to use red or blue visible from the front - that is emergency vehicles only. Check with you DMV but I would bet that amber or yellow are the only colors you can use.

Aww, that's too bad. That means I need to get rid of the Red/Green boat light on the nose too. I guess I'll go with my origional idea and use these VW Bug turn signals. And maybe a clear one for the nose. It never hurts to ask.
