Safe place

I had to replace the battery on my old Jeep about two years ago. It had an Optima that died and I was going to get a new Jeep so I replace the Battery with one from Auto Zone. The Optima came with a strap to lift it with and I know I put that strap in a safe place. I looked every where with no luck. The Optima in my T has the strap next to it. I know where that one is. What made me think of this was a picture in "The T Bucket List" post. How many times have you guys put something in a safe place for further use but don't remember where that safe place is. Yesterday I found the old strap and believe it or not it was right where I put it for safe keeping. I cannot tell you how many times I asked my son if he borrowed this or that only to find it right where I left it. Before I call him my wife will ask if I'm sure I didn't leave it somewhere. Old guys just don't get any respect.

Still looking for 2 brake and clutch rubber pads that I put in "the special place" 4 years ago. Now I have an inexpensive tool box that is dedicated to special stuff. Now all I have to do is locate that box.

Put my brake calipers in a "safe place" during my build; when the time came, couldn't fine 'em - ordered more, and when the new ones came, I found the "old" ones! Fortunately, I was able to return the "new" ones. (I love happy endings!!!:D)

I am not even going to get in this discussion cause I forget.............lol........

That happens to me every day, sometimes what I was looking for was right in front of me. I guess that is just old age.

Glad I'm not alone and we can all laugh about it. What was the it we were laughing about. I know I put it some place. Give me enough time, I'll find it.
