selling the world's most unique and probably most expensive bucket??

I may have to sell the Potvin T. Had a stroke a year ago. And I'm 80 and not well. The glory days are behind me. But where do I sell such a bucket? And for how much? This isn't your $10k bucket. I have maybe $100k in it plus 1000s of hours my time. I need someone who appreciates the Potvin/EFI and the Halibrand QC IRS. Both pieces are extremely rare ( I've never see either in 50 years of car shows). Maybe I'll have it buried with me. But I'm gonna be cremated......

That really sucks to hear, but I understand. As for recouping your investment, good luck! Not to diminish your investment or the value of your masterpiece, but these are labors of love and love is a very bad investment, from a monetary perspective. Enjoy it until you can no longer do it and hopefully you will find a worthy home for it. Advertise it everywhere, someone will surely appreciate it and be proud to park it in their garage.

Sorry to hear this, buddy.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. My sense is that Spanky is spot on with his auction recommendation. Given the quality of your ride, I would recommend, at least a call to Barrett-Jackson.

Kerry, I would love to have your car BUT, I am 80 also so my time is proably short so I guess if you would get it to someone that will love the car as you do, you might sell it at Barrett-Jackson as Spanky suggested...........I know the feelings you are going through but hang around here as long as you can cause we need your help.............

Sorry to hear you are not doing well. Hope things change for the better soon.
Once you have things figured out, post all the details on the forums here. Otherwise, maybe an auction like Barrett Jackson as Spanky suggested. I know they will take a big chunk of the purchase price, but auctions do take care of some of the financial details.

OMG, say it ain't so friend! You were such a great help while I was wiring my car from scratch.

Many, many thanks!!!!

Saw a guy on Bring A Trailer get a bunch for a home built track car he sold books on how to do it. I was getting parts together to build one until I found a Pete Robinson manufactured blower drive. I worked with him until he crashed at the Winternationals in 1972 I think. He has been my hero all my life. Anyway he sold it and the buyer backed out and he ended up taking less money for it.

Bring a Tralier is a better idea than Barrett-Jackson.........I think..............
