So it is gonna be pink! What the bet that your wife will have to hide the keys away so that you don't drive it!! I would like to see the finished car as the paint work on the diff sets a high standard for all of us to live up too, excellent, makes my old 10 bolt look boring.

Can ya make the eyes light up when you, I mean she, hits the brakes?

Good one swim Jeff is a good guy and i hope has a good sense of humor. At least i hope he does when his pals see him driving his "wifes car"

I thought about putting red LED's in the eyes, but I realized that if one burned out I couldn't get in to fix it without creating major repair problems, so I skipped them.

This car has a very stock 350, with the exception of 2 4's on a tunnel ram. I know that some people think this combination is good for at least 6,000 HP @ 7500 RPM, especially if they own one, but I am going to guess that reality dictates something more like 200 HP @ 4500. That being said, the 409 has just come back from dyno-tuning, and it will light the tires (posi) for as long as I want to keep my foot in it. I think I'll be spending a little more time in that car as opposed to the "pinkie" (which will actually be Nissan Murano grey oyster pearl with pink flames. Pics to come in a couple of months). Nevertheless, I do know who will have to drive both cars to the gas station the night before early morning events. :thumb:

Thats cool jeff. We cant miss a chance to give u a hard time. :wacky:

that is awesome please tell us how you did it I'm sure it will be repeated

I bought one of these (see pic) on Ebay. Then I put a big doughnut of body filler (Rage Gold) around the back end of the diff. housing and stuck the back end of the skull in it. More filler and sanding to make the transition seamless, then paint the whole housing and skull with primer, then black. Next a coat of midcoat. Then I masked off most of the housing and painted the skull white so that I wouldn't be putting the light colors (read pink) onto a dark surface. Next I painted all the pink, then the Panther Pink candy which is on the long lines coming from the black to the pink skull, then the black on the gums around the teeth. Some of the black from doing this gets on the teeth and on the pink of the skull, not to worry. Next use bone white to paint the teeth and get rid of the black over spray on them, and use pink to get rid of the black over spray on the skull around the mouth. Then use black to paint all the transition from the axle housing to the skull and the shading over the eyes, in the eyes, nose, lower jaw (chin), etc.. Lastly, gold on the one tooth, pull the masking tape, airbrush black to get rid of the tape line and then spray clear coats as desired. I left out stuff like prep, paint types, etc. If anyone is curious just post a question.

Jeff
