This has been done before im sure. Anyway i installed my new stainless column from speed way then my new 1/2 wrap steering wheel with the trick ford horn button. HORN Button this is a solid column no wires allowed. well i will put the horn button down on the front of the seat support with everything else. But i couldnt get that darn horn button on the column off my mind. Then it came to me like a lightning bolt or maby it was just gas anyway the next morning i went to Lowes and picked up a keychain garage door remote cracked it open soldered on 2 wires to the button then dropped it into the wheel adapter void and shazam when i push the horn the door opens. Even a blind squirrel gets a nut from time to time

Now to add to the enjoyment of cruising in your T you can drive around seeing if you can open other peoples garage door. there have to be some with the same frequency.

Which is good when trying to ditch Johnny Law :shifty:

When I was stationed in Oklahoma in the early 80s my house was on final approach to one of the runways. Just about every time a jet flew over my garage door would open. The next jet would close it. It was a pilot training base so it happened a lot. A doppler radar thing or something. I had to disable the opener until I could get to Sears and buy some new bits to change the frequency.
