steering stops

You guys running steering stops, Where are you mounting them.. If I turn full right I'm into the spring shackel, full left into the steering arm.

I have seen folks drill/tap the axle tube and use a bolt.

I thought about it, then realized, I will never use em, if your careful you should never get to full stop turning around or parking.

Jim, if you look closely at the attached picture and look at the second bolt down on the left side you'll see an adjustable steering stop.
Perhaps you could do something similar on your car.

If you do that, use rubber hood stops.Already threaded and rubber tipped.

After looking over the different ways to do it.... I got lazy because I didn't want to take things apart.
I went and drilled and tapped the axle.

Looks good.

What type of paint is that on the axle? Or is that just sand blasted?

"Satin Nickel" rattle can from Home depot.
