I'm new to the hobby and have noticed that nearly all buckets have auto trans.'
Is there a reason that stick shifts aren't used in "t"s ?

In most cases there's just not enough room for the linkage and/or the extra pedal in the floor. Some folks do have them, but it's a tight fit. Plus it's a pain in the but if your in a parade or slow traffic.

I know two guys who had sticks in their Ts and swapped them out for slush-boxes for the reasons Grant (GT63) mentions. I had thought about putting a stick in my T when I first started working on it, and was talked out of it by those two guys.

Sounds reasonable. It's just I'm one of those guys that thinks that a hot rod should have 3 pedals.
Maybe just not in the case of t buckets!

Some of us can only point now Cowboy!!!!
