Well thanks to hurricane Sandy I got a new garage

Sorry about the problems, glad for the upgrades. You are lucky your insurance did not give you any problems. Usually dead trees are the owners responsibility. Glad to see it went well.

The tree that fell was in my neighbors yard.
My agent said as soon as it crossed my property line it became my tree
I think that is insane
State Farm payed within 1 week -- garage was rebuilt and expanded within 3 weeks
By the way I also upgraded my air compressor

Exactly had a neighbors tree fall over my sport court 5 years ago, my insurance paid after I paid the deductable though, I came out on the loosing end for sure
