:D I am not sure you could put a bigger grin on my face then the one I have been wearing all afternoon.

At 2:15pm today, I got my plates, at 2:16 today I was on the road :D

It rained all morning so I was pretty disappointed, but as soon as I left the license office the sun broke through the clouds, it was a sign for me to burn some fuel.

I toured around the local roads until my wife got home at 3 then I grabbed her and off we went.

What a perfect day for a cruise. I am amazed at all the smiles, thumbs up and grin I got just cruising around.

It was worth it all, and its just begun!!

NICE !! :cheer:
I wish I was out burning fuel instead fo sitting in front of this computer.
Its been cold and raining in Chicago for nearly 2 flippin weeks now !!!
Im going friggin nuts not being able to go for a spin.
Im gonna be a basket case when the snow starts flying. :cold:
Put them miles on while you can.

Enjoy the smiles just watch for people looking at you and not where they are going. Somebody almost hit me one day.

Congrats have all the fun while you can, that white stuff will be on the ground before you know it. I hope I get mine legal before to much longer. :hey:

Congrats, Keeper! Now you know why it's all worth it. You'll find excuses to drive it EVERYWHERE! I do and I love it. Once again.... congrats, be safe and keep on smilin'! You deserve it.

P.S.- Does itfeel like yer naked, when at a stoplight with all the looks?

Congrats! I remember my first run down the block. The smile lasted all day! :D

Just wait till you gas it up...everyone will gravitate to your car and ask you what it is... tell you that it must be a lot of fun (like you didn't know!), and my favorite: is that a kit? :nono:

Yup, 30 minutes to pump gas will be the norm!

I'll tell you now, get used to some odd encounters! The day after I got my '27 legal (sort of...) we headed off to join the Hot Rod PowerTour (2009). We stopped half way to Dayton at a rest stop to get some water as my shiny new rad cap apparently did not have a high enough psi rating . When I came out from the building, a bus full of some serious church holy rollers were oogling our T's. After spending 20 minutes showing them the cars and answering questions, they insisted that we all hold hands in a big circle (about 20 including us) and they all prayed and gave us blessings for our trip. It was pretty surreal!

Congratulations Keeper, I celebrated the 44th anniversary of the day my bucket was titled and licensed this year and I remember that first legal ride like it was yesterday.

This is almost like seeing your nephew being born! Thanks for the terrific build thread. Enjoy my friend, you've earned every bit of it.

Ron

Keeper I find that if you are the only T Bucket on the road at that time you become a "ons car parade" and if you add one more you now become "a car show at every stop"............Have fun and

I don't think I got 38 more years left in this old body but I'll be a Bucket owner till the end Telman2........................
