Dont let the age fool ya i wouldnt want to be on the other end of her scope. That Remington 700 will slam the brakes on your future.

Looks a lot like my grand daughter. Took her deer hunting for the first time in 07 she took two deer opening morning. She was Happy.:) ..Francis

When a woman is that good with a gun it behooves one to ensure she stays happy. Years ago the wife of a friend got a job as a police dispatcher in Webster, TX. She was required to wear a uniform and she had to be armed. He took her out and bought her a .38 caliber Lady Smith and took her to a range to teach her to shoot. She took to it like a duck to water. He said she constantly shot a whole lot of bullets into a real small area on the target. She was about 5' tall and maybe 90 pounds. He was 6' 1" and about 230. She made the rules in that household. She probably made them all along but after the shooting demonstration I'm sure her authority was reinforced.

Yep don't want to mess with women. My daughter has a carry permit. 25 years old cute little blonde. 5'8" about 100lbs. Carrys a .357 SW and a very small 22 revolver on her all the time. She shoots pretty regular and can handle the 357 with no problem.

I think is great that u guys encourage your gals to CC. I cant help but believe the young ladies that have had a poor outcome when abducted could have turned the tide if they CC. I have 4 girls and i can guarantee you would get lead poisioning if u mess with them. And if you approach 2 of them together you would darn sure be caught in a good ole oklahoma cross fire.

Never understood why everybody likes to get a subnose 38 for the ladies.

I hate shooting that gun. I'd rather shoot the Tanfoglio .40, Glock 9mm, Sig p229, the 1911, Dad's old .45 revolver, even the SW .44 Magnum was fun to shoot... anything other than that dang snubnose. I suppose that if you only need to squeeze off one of two shots then it's no big deal but I'm NOT doing fifty rounds with it, and I LOVE to shoot.

Got a friend that teaches the carry class, shoots hundreds of rounds a week. He takes all kinds of firearms classes. Pistol, shotgun, rifle, etc. Got me hooked on the Glock. He's got half a million rounds through two Glocks and still likes it, still recommends it. Bought his fiance a pink one I do believe.

My favorite firearm I own is my H&R (now NEF) 45-70 Handi-Rifle. Great little gun, inexpensive and perfect for deer hunting around here.

Dad's favorite right now is the little coyote rifle. I think it's a .177. He's facinated by it for some reason.

NOW, If you're looking for pretty girls with rifles, do a google search for IDF Girls.

Hubba hubba, Oy VEY!

My girls chime in with 1 smith 38 mod 42, 2 glock 9s, and a walther PPK 380.

As for my wife, it was her choice. She has a 1911 style .45, two 9mm semi-autos, a .380 semi-auto, and a .357 snubby (Taurus mdel 605 stainless steel). She likes the snub nose because it is the easiest to conceal...

I carry a SA 40 cal. and i am thinking i might switch to titanium SW 38 mod 638. For the summer months.

I just purchased a Springfield XD-40 a couple months ago.... Love it, I dont think I would compare it to a glock but its definitely a sweet pistol!

dovehunter79, tell a little about that Springfield XD-40. I like the Glock 17 and glock 22 because it fits my hand perfectly. Don't like a short grip on my pistols. I've been looking at the Springfield and reading up on it, have a friend that wants to sell his and I'm thinking about buying it to carry.

The Tanfoglio is great, but it's heavy... which I normally like when shooting, but carrying all the time it's just a little too much. That's what's nice about the Glock 22.

Right now, sitting on my desk is the Sept2008 Am. Rifleman with the Springfield XD(m) on the cover. That sure is a good looking pistol.

Hey Ron, your daughter single? LOL

Well 2 of the guys at the gun club couldnt believe the XD 40 s accuracy they both shoot 9mm glock one of them now carries the xd after shooting mine. The only thing a novice should be aware of CC on a SA hammerless, is i suggest no shell in the chamber. Or purchase a pistolie with a hammer or double action for safety. MY XD with a shell in the chamber is rrrrrrready.

Its a little heavy when its fully loaded but even using a rapid fire I can stay very accurate from the first bullet to the last. Recoil isnt much at all and its accurate... I have heard alot of people say they like the glock better but then you hear other say that the springfield model is the better... to me its all preference

I am 6' and have big hands, this pistol was definitely designed for guys like me. It fits my hands perfect. The only thing about that grip is the placement of the magazine release, to my taste it is a little further back then it should be.

It does have have a trigger and palm safety on it which is nice... also has a couple features that lets you know whether or not it is loaded or if the weapon is cocked/fired.

its fairly easy to take apart and clean.... the only drawback is that upper receiver spring is a mother (*&^ to get off...

Overall, its an awesome pistol... IMO, if your buddy is sellin it you should go for it!!!

I have had the opportunity to talk to several gun instructors and to a man (or woman) they all agree that woman that are interested at all in shooting are usually excellent shots!Several have flat out stated that if they have a new group of interested shooters and there is a woman among them SHE will be the hi score of the shooting part of the class. My wife and 1 daughter in law are both very good shots. Then again I did know one instructor that would give a woman he never saw shoot only 1 bullet at a time for a few rounds !Seems he had a couple ladies scream and toss the gun after firing their first round !He blamed that on their male partners for not preparing them right in the first place .

Keeper lol....I was waiting for this response!

I was as well, but since nobody else said it I figure I'd give it a go... did ya notice Ron hasn't said anything LOL.

Oh well there's always mail order brides right?

How much is shipping on one of those? Is there a crate fee or something?

not sure on all that... I had actually bought it from a friend, it was his home protection weapon and he had only shot about 200 rounds through it, he wanted to upgraded pistol to the XD-40 so I bought his and went and purchased the upgrade.

My home protection was a S&W 44 Mag loaded with Rat Shot. HUGE gun, weight was exactly what I like for a six shooter. Pull that gun, drop the sights on the target and pull the trigger. You wouldn't hold it up for very long HAHA I swear that thing weighed at least ten pounds.

Took my permit class with the Sig p229. I can shoot that gun all day long. Very very nice pistol. Now I'm looking for a good carry pistol. Like the Glock 9 and .40, want to check out the Springfield a little more.
