I know the entitled ones will surely get this info around with all the free phones, free computers and the other free social networking devices we as taxpayers supply them. the day is fast upon us when you can't just attain the American dream for your family. You have to do it for you and the Entitled Ones. All I can say is PRAY America PRAY.

I think the big industrialists should be told to hire people and get our economy going or pay the out of work people what they would be getting. A whole lot more to the story would have to be said but that would scare them into hiring people

The problem with that is we cannot afford their products, when they are paying Chinese workers a slave wage. If they were forced to pay an American worker to build the same product, prices would jump up five to ten times what we're now paying. I'll not name any names, but one of the larger header manufacturers in this country moved all their manufacturing equipment to Mexico, years ago. They now sell tubing to the Mexicans, after which, they buy assembled headers. And it is all more profitable than paying American workers to manufacture the headers right here. It is a dream come true for those involved in the creation of NAFTA and CAFTA, even though it put American workers out of their jobs.
When previous administrations started allowing American industry to leave this country, they were letting our greatest asset move outwith our borders. And they did it without realizing it is next to impossible to put toothpaste back into the tube.
But to bring this back around to the Swiss paying its citizens a guaranteed wage, isn't that really what our own welfare programs have been doing for decades? That welfare check in the mail is not nearly as dramatic as a dump truck full of gold coins, but it is the same principle. It is so attractive a program for our own citizens that we now give those same benefits to illegal border jumpers, although the problems in this country seem to be slowing the influx of illegals into this country.

AMEN My friend!! Wasn't there a little short guy from Texas several years ago talking about a huge sucking sound of jobs headed south of the border with the NAFTA crap. Ross Perot and they called him a NUT.

Did any watch 60 minutes last night? They told about the disability program and the lawyers that get people into it. It is a national scandal, billions of dollars in the pockets of lawyers.

You bethcha. That is one of the biggest legal scams going, and both sides are playing it for everything they can get.
A place like Binder & Binder gets you to sign up with them, so they mark down the date they initially file your claim. They tell you that something to the tune of 90% of first claims will be denied. So then, they make a second claim, after advising you that nearly 80% of second claims are denied. So they then request a hearing on your claims, which they will tell you they have something like a 90% success rate with.
But that entire process can take a minimum of two years. Which is where B&B make their money. Because if they win your case in a hearing, then Uncle Sam has to go back to the date of your initial filing, and pay you benefits from that date. B&B dip their snouts into that trough to the tune of 25% and you are then on disability benefits. You suffer without an income for at least two years, whilst they ultimately take 25% of what you should have been getting during that time, simply for filing two claims and then representing you at one hearing.
