I wonder how they would hold up driving on the street. Those are designed for dirt and they don't last overly long there.
For $150 it's worth finding out. Where did you find them?

They'll work fine, better tha you think... if you find a sprintcar guy you can get them from him... The dirt tires wear quick to dirt track racers because there is a compound on them for dirt, after the compound is gone they're junk to guys that are racing..

They are not DOT approved, you can get ticketed for them...

I ran a set on my 84 mustang before I swapped to ET streets...

I have a set of Firestone dirt track tires on the back of my car. They have to be aired up all the time. They leak, they are supposed to leak. If you don't air them up it wears the inside edges off really quick. But they are inexpensive and seem to do fine other than that.

I ran tubes in mine.... Put baby powder all over the tubes when you put them in, it will eliminate chaffing between the tube and tire, you won't have to air them up all the time...

that is all I have EVER run on mine is dirttrackers. Have had several sets of Firestones like Ron has pictured. My current set are some American Racer 34/18x15 I STOLE off of ebay for $37 for the two (brand new). I am pretty sure the guy was really pissed off nobody else bid on them and got the money up for the bid. Oh well, life's a beach. I recently bought some Hoosiers from their Discontinued page on their website. I NEVER pay more than $100 a tire.

I also run tubes in mine. Dirttrackers are Non DOT approved because of the 2 ply sidewall. I have never been stopped or ticketed for the dirttrackers. I felt safer with the Firestones because of the big@ss FIRESTONE on the sidewall and fiqured a cop see that and think they were just regulat BIG tires. The American Racers came with white paint on the lettering which I removed with laquer thinner. Did not want to draw attention to the words AMERICAN RACER. Even then I have had no problems.

Ron/Blownt what size rims are you guys running? I have 16x10 on my bucket ,will any of Hoosier dirt tires fit my rims? Thanks C

My first set of Centerline Convo-pros were 15x15. My new set of American Racing Torque-Thrust only come as big as 15x14 unless you special order them. The 15x14 are fine for the big dirttrackers.

Also the dirttrackers HOOK unlike M/T's or Hoosiers Quick Times. M/T's are really bad at spinning.
