Water-based paint

My mechanic just returned from an automotive paint seminar for the new waterbased paint. He said it was unbelievable with spray technique using a 70% overlap rather than 50% overlap. Wait a few minutes and apply the clearcoat. He said the flowout and matching capabilities wwere amazing. Anyone else had any experience using this paint.

I haven't used it yet but I understand that you need near perfect conditions. If the color coats are not perfectly dry it will look great until you get it in the sun and the body get's hot. The excess moisture causes the clear to form bubbles of water.
None of us like change so this may be only an urban mith

That makes sense, of course in Arizona, everything is dry or on its way to drying out, ha!
