A test driver at the Toyota Proving Grounds running between 190 and 200 mph, heard a bang and suddenly developed engine overheating problems. When he went to raise the hood, he discovered his problem, ugh!

I don't know or understand anything about these internet photos but that sure looks staged to me. I've been a hunter all my life and have taken hundreds of coyotes, I've never seen any kind of predator on the move hit unexpectedly from the rear unless it was with a gun from a hide. When they know something is closing in on them they always turn to face it and their hearing far exceeds anything you can imagine.
I manage a couple of airports, and we have wildlife hit by planes fairly often. I would say we get a couple of coyotes a year. This is by planes landing or taking off at somewhere between 60 and 120 mph.
I personally rescued a red-tailed hawk who had a wing broken when he collided with a Cessna 182 taking off. I picked him up on the end of a push broom, which he amazingly just stepped onto when I pushed it towards him. He was hissing, but he seemed to want to be helped. It was actually very touching. The rescue people came and hooded him and took him to a shelter. They brought him back out and released him in the same area about 3 months later. I questioned the wisdom of that, but they said it was his territory, and he would do better there than somewhere else. He is still patrolling the airport, but he avoids the runway when airplanes are nearby. The maintenance guys call him "Red," and they enjoy seeing him. He was gone for awhile and the boys really got upset, but he's back now... with a girlfriend.
