Lets start with front suspension

Ok so I picked up a T that was kind of built in it looks like the 80's. It all needs to be reworked, but I think the major pieces are there. The front suspension is where I will start as far as posts here go... Now this suspension works the way it is...... but it is very ugly...(If you are out there original builder, no disrespect)

I need to move those ugly shocks and tie-rod..... So to start can someone tell me how to tell if I have chevy or ford spindles.....

Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like by asking simple questions and not having a bucket body on a t-bucket frame I may have offended some of the grumpy old “..” so I think I will log out of here and continue elsewhere. Not the forum for me

Wow! Where did that come from? I don’t see what offended him and I hope he rethinks his course of action. Looked like an interesting project. Front end looked very much like CCR parts.

Well I’m still here for a few moments but maybe look in the lounge... I think I am a topic of the discussion there. Looks like there is an ignore button I may have to use

I just need to ignore some folks and comments. I’m a grumpy old fart myself. I know how it can come off sometimes to others. I have to remind myself every now and again it’s not how I meant it that’s important ... it is how others perceive it that mostly matters.

I am NOT referring to anyone in this conversation, but there are a few that I have ignored for various reasons... it’s still a good site. Not everyone will see eye to eye.

Thanks Spanky, but I am a bit partial to c-cab pickup woodies. Rare, yet strangely attrctive, when done as a bucket sort of thing. Yeah, I know. I have been called weird before today, but I like "different".:rolleyes::rolleyes:
