Plastic flames . . . ?

In Chicago there was an auto parts store called J C Whitney/ Warshawsky’s. They sold every chrome, hop
up, gizmo, goofy thing you wanted to buy. Chrome antennas, rat tails, spinners or hub caps. They had a huge store and showroom where you could roam around for hours looking at all the cool stuff.
They also had a bunch of roadster parts.
Bodies, frames, axles, headers. It was a cool place.
They went out of business in the 70’s, I think. Nostalgia!
They probably sold Spanky’s flames, too!

DSC_0496-1.jpg I remember J.C Whitney's ( clear vinyl seat protectors). I believe they also had a catalog. In 1965 i bought the seat protectors for my 1962 Ford Thunderbird (i was 18 years old).
