the motor is a '57 283 with a 4 in bore makeing it a 301 cid. dont know hp yet, gona get it on a dino soon. but i can say for sure that it will do 10,000 rpms. in the old car i was hiting around 7800 at the top end of the track and it was still pulling . that little motor made a beliver out of...- madmak

Well we go to the Hamb Drags every year. and have gotten hooked on vintage type drag raceing. We had a '36 cutdown ford (4 door sedan cutdonw to a 2 door) that we were raceing with a 301cid sbc. Ran 11.89 @115. But we want to go FASTER..... so we building this.... dont worry we'll make it safe...- madmak

chevy camber question.
i might be ask the wronge question.... or not.. what will be the degree angle of the king pins at the axle so that the tire is at zero when useing a chevy spindle? so i will know how to set up my jig. on a ford spindle it is at 9 degrees if im not mistaken.- madmak

where can i find these bolts?
yes . one screws into the other. and ive usaully use grade 8 bolts but these where a little fancy so i thought id look for a replacement.- madmak

I scored some chrome hair pins at the swap meet , and they have this type of bolts it the clevis, but i missing one. where can i find some more ? i havent been able to find them on the web. sorry about the crappy picture.James- madmak
