    1 wire alternator

Where do you need a fusible link? A one wire has one 4 ga cable from the alternator to the battery and you should run it direct.

Any pictures of Ted's front end?

Who wants to value my project.....

A partially built car with a crappy body is not really worth much. As noted, it is worth what someone is willing to pay but if you had to sell it today I bet about $3500.

    Gear vendor

I don't think it would fit unless you have a super stretched body. My driveshaft might be 14" at most and you still need a driveshaft after the GV unit. The other problem will be the shear size of it in an area where there is virtually no space. It will be interesting to see how you make out.

    bias ply woes lol

I tried radials on mine and it did not drive any different then the bias plys so I switched back for the looks. I only run about 14 psi in the fronts. When I added the front panhard bar it probably made the best improvement.

    roller value

Well that was my original plan. I have a 302 that I could swap in to maintain the cars value. Tbuckets are only worth so much as mentioned so a $4k engine vs a $9k engine doesn't make alot of difference IMO. A roller just saves me all the work. lol

    roller value

I had a fellow ask me if I would sell my car as a roller. I never really thought about it but what would a roller be worth. Everything except the engine. I want the engine for another project and he is a chevy guy so it would be a good fit.. The interior has a couple flaws but the rest is quite...

    Ford Motor and Trans questions

I have a 382 ci windsor in mine. The 302 or 351 will be fine and can be made to make more power then small tires can handle. I know 800 horses of 540 sounds awesome but these cars tend to get pretty scary pretty fast. Old suspension and old steering is not a good combo with gynormous horsepower...

Signal Stat 900 signal switch with EP 27 flasher and LED lights

My car has the popular Signal Stat 900 universal signal light switch. When I switched to LED lights from United Pacific I also ordered one of their LED 3 prong flashers (part # 90651). It has since quit and no one seems to carry them other then online like Summit or Amazon. Waiting 3+ days for a...

    Radius/hairpin sizes

I believe it is this one here. IIRC it was a bit longer than the ones I have now. Bilstein F4-BOA-0000836 Chrome Front Shock, 10-11 Inch Ride Height

Are there anymore Streched 27's out there?

Once you start making it wider and longer it kinda throws the 23/27 thing out the window for me. Especially when a lot of people look for a 27 simply for more room. lol

Are there anymore Streched 27's out there?

That's it. Gee, how did you know? ;) Super nice car, excellent fit and finish with plenty of room.

Are there anymore Streched 27's out there?

At the 2016 NTBA Cajun Regionals there was a guy there with a widened and stretched car. You sat real low in it and it had tons of room. Problem is I lost his card and don't remember his name. Maybe someone else will remember something.

    Hunting for History...

Scottrods bought up about a dozen fiberglass manufacturers over the years. There was a company call RodNRace that he bought around 2009. RodNRace had both a long and short bodies. RodnRace was the only people I knew of that made a short C cab body back then (there were several that made long...

    Ideas for steps?

There is a good thread already here with lots of step info. Here is what I built. Regarding wings, my Cobra has them and when they make a huge difference. On the bucket I am sure it would depend on the height of your windshield.

    Spring over or spring behind

Do you mean the clevis'? They use a pin looking bolt.

    Loose side pipes

I did the screw method on the bottom inside but found they would vibrate out. I ended up welding a tab on each piece and use a 1/4" bolt to hold it from turning.

How easy is it to get a T registered and tagged in Alabama?

To elaborate, the reason I ask this question is because my Factory Five roadster was titled in California with the FFR serial number. In Louisiana they only use the Federal standard digit length (Idk what else to call it) so they had to issue a new 17 digit vin tag and title even though it was...

Ron custom made my 4 bars. Top notch.

    Radius/hairpin sizes

It sure does. Not like a Lincoln or anything but better. I'd like to try some Bilstein shocks next.
